Paul Healy is a highly experienced CIO/CISO with over 25 years of experience in leading IT and cybersecurity strategy including 7 years as CIO of a global ASX200-listed company. He has a proven track record of implementing and managing technology solutions that improve security,  drive growth and enhance user experience. With a strong focus on cybersecurity and compliance, Paul was responsible for enabling his business to be the first Australian company within their sector to achieve ISO27001 certification across all locations. He worked with regional teams across Australia and New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe to achieve multiple information security certifications and maintain compliance with global privacy regulations including the Privacy Act, GDPR, CCPA and others.

Paul has experience working with clients across a wide variety of industry sectors from technology to professional services and defence, as well as federal and state governments, NGO’s and not-for-profit organisations. Importantly, he has a deep understanding of the technical aspects and methods involved in achieving compliance, through years of experience managing security, enterprise software applications, cloud infrastructure and networks. He is a firm believer in utilising the latest technology and automation to improve security and to streamline business processes. At the same time, Paul believes the best solutions are those that are simple to implement and maintain, and without unnecessary complexity or cost.

Paul has a Masters degree in Information Technology (Enterprise Systems)  and is a Certified ISO27001 Lead Auditor. He established Cybervisory in 2023 with a view to providing organisations with a fresh approach to achieving cybersecurity compliance and certification. After years of experiencing first-hand what works and what doesn’t, Paul is keen to share his experience with clients and empower them to manage their cyber risks and protect their organisations from cyber threats.
